Sneak never lets up the beat, as any DJ worth his salt should, but also has an ear to sequencing and flow, sometimes introducing subtle but effective pauses in the overall music while the beats continue, as at the start of "Strong Enough" by Manhattan People.

The mix actually starts off with "Casio's Theme" on title 1 and has only the accapella of Vince Ailey's "The Ride" mixed in during the intro beats. It then continues with Johnny Fiasco on title 2 and so on. In the last minute of "Life Is Changing" you can hear "Azymuth - Jazz Carnival (Space Jazz Mix)" being mixed in, followed by a fade-out to end the mix.
DJ Sneak is beloved among house heads around the world as one of the most famous and popular DJ’s of the second wave of the Chicago scene. Sneak’s deep, yet funky style is exemplified by this mix, one that I feel is the best I’ve ever heard of his. It includes many rare, sought-after house tracks, and has that deep hypnotic groove that Sneak is famous for without being too repetitive or minimal. This is the sound of Chicago house that was contemporary to Daft Punk’s first album and provided the ground work for the French house and UK disco house genres that followed in the mid-to-late 90’s.
DJ Sneak Format: Audio Cassette. Dj Sneak has made some of the all time greatest house tracks that ever came out of Chicago. He is also an awesome DJ who can keep the party alive from Chicago to London. When I first bought this CD, I tried to get all the tracks on vinyl to spin myself.
