Pentagram is the debut studio album by Norwegian black metal band Gorgoroth, released in September 1994 by Embassy Productions. It followed the band's two demo cassettes, A Sorcery Written in Blood and Promo '94. It was the only album to feature Samoth on bass and Goat Pervertor on drums. Pentagram was reissued seven times, four of those on CD: in 1996 by Malicious Records, in 1999 by Century Black in America, in 2005 as a remastered version on Season of Mist and in 2007 on Regain Records
Gorgoroth- Pentagram. Two different CD versions have been released by Embassy: either of them is a black disc with the logo of the band and the album title; the other one is also a black disc but it has the logo of the label on the top. Wild Rags Records (aka Embassy USA) version contains the 8 tracks as 1 long track without cracking.
Listen free to Gorgoroth – Pentagram (Begravelsesnatt, Crushing the Scepter (Regaining a Lost Dominion) and more). Line Up: Hat - Vocals. Goat Pervertor - Drums.
Originally released by Embassy Productions in 1994, Pentagram has been reissued by Malicious in 1996, Century Black in 1999, Season of Mist and Agonia in 2005, Back on Black in 2006, and Regain in 2007 - and every time Pentagram gets reissued, people are reminded of how stubbornly uncompromising Gorgoroth has been. There have been many different Gorgoroth lineups along the way, but regardless of who was on board, Gorgoroth's intensity has not been compromised.
