Stephen O'Malley is a musician, predominantly a guitarist, producer and composer from Seattle, Washington and based in Paris, France. Also founded the record labels Southern Lord in 1998 and Ideologic Organ in 2011 - the former together with Greg Anderson.
End Ground" is a live solo record by Stephen O'Malley, it's the final volume of a trilogy of live recordings of the artist issued by iDEAL Recordings, the first being "Fuck Fundamentalist Pigs" followed by "Dread Live", it was recorded at Centre Culturel Suisse, Bad Bonn Carte Blanche, Paris, France on 18th October 2013. This is one of the most banal pieces of crap I've ever heard in my life and my God, I've heard some. Patience can indeed be a virtue and I'm no stranger to engaging my ears in lenghty, sonic drones but this is simply dire, self-indulgent garbage.
