I bought my copy from KLF Communications by mail order. It was an official release.

VHS was official. Not CD-R or VCD.

This is not an official KLF Communications release. There are also very subtle differences with the almost identical entry on the Positive Void Communications label The KLF - Waiting .

Hi ZWOL2, Regarding Love Trance PT3..... I think this is actually a much harder record/track to classify . I think in typical KLF fashion they love to create myths ...and regarding the Pure Trance series - for every interview they can say something which contradicts what they previously said......Firstly I know they have both given interviews (like your chat with Bill) saying the missing PT tracks were never recorded. But this is contradicts other interviews/sources via yes themselves!........ Several years ago - Jimi responsed on Twitter to a fan who tweeted him an internet link to the Love Trance track , Jimi responded that it was his recording and it was a demo of Love Trance PT3, [though he hated it]. In other words I would contend that all the tracks were recorded in some form .... I have read interview with Bill in Pete Robinsons Justified & Ancient (published 1993) where he said ALL the Pure Trance tracks were recorded. I also read that Gimpo uncovered several DATs/cassettes one containing another ''demo'' of Love Trance , when he was helping Jimi items from his house several years ago. This demo was on one of the PVC releases. Likewise another fan I know asked Bill about the LT PT3 12" and again he admitted the tracks were all recorded and that the Love Trance track "was theirs" ..... Then the same fan has heard from his KLFsources that the LT PT3 12" was actually an extremely limited batch they pressed up via Adrenalin to sample the track and gave copies to friends/DJs. The response wasn't positive so it went nowhere.....I believe in late 1989 they had even re-scheduled a proper release for Love Trance PT3 as well as E-Train To Trancentral PT5, but alas these were again cancelled in favour of the PT5 remix of LTTT. However even LTTT press release mentioned E-Train as existing but "... hadn't yet seen the light of day'' ... Overall in 1989 - its would be strange to reschedule something if it never even existed ???. Morely likely I'd say that the tracks weren't finished and they weren't still never happy with them. THat's my view.. .. For interest I own a copy of the Love Trance PT3 myself and bought it from a seller in the early 1990s [ not Dudley shop and my record has 'Adrenalin' as per discog] .

Indeed, my mistake, thanks ZWOL2 for correcting me. I have however amended the entry, moving it into 'KLF Communications (2)', which is the correct label for unofficial releases pretending to be genuine.

Actually Len7 it was issued in 1992, long before Positive Void Communications were created, that's when I purchased my copy. This version however is also not an official KLF Communications release. I actually met Bill Drummond via a mutual friend of my sister in 1995. I asked him about that release and "Love Trance (Pure Trance 3)" and without any shadow of a doubt said that LT is not a KLF record at all as it was never recorded, or even wrote. He did state that record and this CD seemed to have originated from in or around the Dudley area in the West Midlands from a second had record store there.
