The Singles: The First Ten Years is a double compilation album by Swedish pop group ABBA, released in November 1982. 1982 was ABBA’s final year together as a group. They had originally intended to record a new studio album, like they had done almost every year since they first came together. But as the four members felt the energy run out of the group, they shelved these plans and instead decided to release a double album collection of their singles from 1972 to 1982.

I was very happy to have finally purchased this rare long out-of-print CD which is officially the last album ABBA released while they were still a group. This is a must-have for any ABBA fan, a compilation of 23 hit singles released from 1972-82. 2 people found this helpful. The album was a 1982 summing up of the many hits ABBA had scored in the previous decade. Published on February 21, 2008.
