It was conceived with Dr. Jameson Marvin, Director of Choral Activities at Harvard University, as a training choir for students who needed more choral experience to perform with the other Harvard Choruses: the Harvard Glee Club, the Radcliffe Choral Society, and the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, and as an organization that invited communities in the greater Boston-Cambridge area to come sing at. Harvard. In 1980, the Chorale was renamed the Harvard–Radcliffe Chorus  . Purcell: Come Ye Sons of Art Purcell: Hail! Bright Cecilia Mozart: Regina Coeli. Schubert: Mass No. 2 in G Mozart: Solemn Vespers of the Confessor. Rossini: Petite Messe Solennelle.

The Harvard Radcliffe Collegium Musicum is an undergraduate mixed chorus at Harvard University, comprised of roughly 60 voices, drawing from both the undergraduate and graduate student populations. Founded in 1971 to coincide with the coeducational merger of Harvard and Radcliffe College, the group was originally intended to be a small chamber ensemble drawing from members of the Harvard Glee Club and the Radcliffe Choral Society. The Collegium performs music from the 15th century through the present, with an emphasis on Renaissance and Baroque music.

Great Mass in C minor (German: Große Messe in c-Moll), K. 427/417a, is the common name of the musical setting of the mass by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and considered one of his greatest works. He composed it in Vienna in 1782 and 1783 after his marriage when he moved to Vienna from Salzburg. This large-scale work, a missa solemnis, is scored for two soprano soloists, a tenor and a bass, double chorus and large orchestra. It remained unfinished, missing large portions of the Credo and the complete Agnus Dei.

Comprised of voices and instruments, the ensemble performs music from the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque eras. Period instruments are provided. Membership is open to all by informal audition. UPCOMING PERFORMANCES. The WMU Collegium Musicum, a 30-member early music ensemble. Membership in the Collegium Musicum is by informal audition and open to all singers and instrumentalists in the University and Kalamazoo communities. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5:15 . The ensemble performs Early Music in a public, School of Music-sponsored, concert at least once each semester. Collegium is beloved by many members of the community and has has a devoted following at concerts and performance events throughout the year. What about instruments?

Suzuki, with so much Bach on his plate, is a bit late to this game, and there are places here where his smooth, sensuous yet sober choral style from the Bach recordings makes this sound a bit like Bach. Several things make it work, however. First is the fact that much of the mass is written in the old polyphonic style and was influenced by Mozart's first serious engagement with Bach's music at the home of the aristocrat Baron van Swieten, and all the virtues of the Collegium's performances apply in the big choruses

Harvard–Radcliffe Collegium Musicum. The Harvard–Radcliffe Collegium Musicum is a mixed chorus at Harvard University, composed of roughly 50 voices from undergraduate and graduate student populations. Founded in 1971 to coincide with the coeducational merger of Harvard and Radcliffe College, Collegium drew from members of the Harvard Glee Club and the Radcliffe Choral Society to form a smaller mixed group that could represent Harvard on tours.

The Collegium Musicum der Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (Collegium Musicum of the University of Tübingen) offers under the General Studies students of all faculties of a comprehensive program of musical training. To accompany the musical work of the ensemble courses, lectures and special events are offered, which are intended to deepen and complement the practical work in theory. From the great choral springs the Camerata Vocalis, a chamber choir, which mainly is mainly devoted to demanding a cappella literature. In addition, the Collegium Musicum offers a musical and organizational support for interested students music groups. The Akademische Chor was founded in 1999 by the then University Music Director Tobias Hiller through the expansion of the chamber choir Camerata Vocalis.
