Many listeners may not know that Apaka was a student of the great Hawaiian falsetto singer Benny Kalama (1916- 1999) who arranged many of his songs. The feature song on this album is the Hawaiian Wedding Song sung in Hawaiian by Apaka with Diana Moncado. Although her voice is thin, she is talented. These songs have a slower tempo in true Hawaiian style.
