The New Topnotes originally did Muskrat Love, Freddie, I Wish, Don't Leave Me This Way and other songs. Pop-disco group, formed by singer Danny Chung and guitarist Majid Rahman, previously of D'Topnotes. They were joined by Elisa Chan, Johnny Yip, Andrew Oh and Italian drummer Roberto Petaccia. Like many Hong Kong bands from the 1970's, they sang in English and their repertoire was composed of cover songs. In 1977-78 they were booked for several tours in America and Europe but some members objected to their new nomadic lifestyle, citing familiar reasons. The group split soon after. Elisa Chan and Johnny Yip became popular Cantopop singers in the 1980's.

Where Do We Go from Here Lyrics. These half-truths you're telling me Won't bring me to my knees Scraped up and bruised From your fickleness I plead Just let me feel some ease From creatures of your greed Just let me feel some ease for me. I'm not so glad I met you It makes me want to go away Until you think it's over I touch yeah yeah yeah. Where do we go from here? You know I'm not the only one Where do we go from here? You know I'm not your only son Where do we go from here? Stop dreaming 'bout.

Comments:

Kekinos
It is an 7 inch single with two absolutly fine Disco/Soul dancing tracks. Espacially "Freddie (Frida)" is a very nice song that has never been released on an LP and a very unique masterpiece since it is an dancable version of the Italian (Neapolitan) downtempo lovesong "Frida" by Fred Bongusto. It is probably the only disco song in which a female singer sings in Neapolitan dialect. For Italians it is surely the most hilarious song ever.
